NOTES:
Berries | Tropical | Pepper-spice

Deep dense dark to the eye. Red wine colored with a paler red wine rim. Heavy sheen, oily almost. Laces the glass w/ sturdy legs. I sniff, sip [image of a cast iron frying pan] Metalic, mineral-y. A salted fatburger fries therein. Start over. Bouquet includes berries, both black & blue. Finishes a bit thin in a top-note manner.

A pepper-spice spine. More sips serve to open that into rainy day cement walked on by mocha meanderings. Undertones of anise & tobacco stalk. Low-hanging dark purple fruits. Stone fruits. Plum. Wet. Tropical flowers. Hawaiian hibiscus, gardenia. Compost. Scrumptious. Savory.

Although lacking some in structure. Weak tannins. An oakiness aids there barely. A bit like a bodybuilder, slightly built. A steroidal bird? Too extreme of a for instance. Utterly gulp-able bottle. Attainable complexities & familiar nuances. The right bit bodacious & Olde World. In short? Tastes like a Black Eye[d Susan] all bruises & blooms.
